
Hello, my name is Mandy van den Berg,

I am a mental health worker who has been working in the community services sector for the past twenty years. Having studied many different therapy methods, I have a lot of knowledge and practice working with people and assisting with their problems or issues. I am also a partner/wife and mother, just a person juggling, work, life, business, family, friends and trying to find the balance just as everyone else is.
​
Growing up, I lived with my own experience of anxiety. I felt different and just wanted to be seen as ‘normal’, be a part of the group, liked, loved. I lived with a great amount of self-doubt, lack of self-worth, self-confidence. I have always been driven to help people. I wanted to make a real difference and my passion for my work provided me not only great opportunities to build my skills and develop my career, but it has also allowed me to learn more about myself.

Being passionate about learning to overcome life's barriers and implement change, I have trained in many different therapies, built my knowledge and skills not only for my own self development but also for my clients. What I am offering at I CAN Feel Good Therapy is supportive services that have made significant impacts not only for the people I have worked with but also therapies and programs that have had a significant impact on my own health and wellbeing. I want to share with you just how easy it can be to live your best life. I want to teach you the tools to get past the barriers quickly and easily so you can reach your goals.

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a great example of this. The therapy combines clinical hypnotherapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help you to not only understand yourself better but to also provide you with the tools to make the changes you want to make, quickly and easily. It sounds very "Hollywood" to say RTT changed my life but it honestly has been one of the greatest things I have done for myself and now working with RTT I can truly say that I am still impressed by the outcomes and results my clients achieve.

I also provide coaching support. Coaching allows me to work with you one on one to develop motivation and skills to work on a particular goal. My aim at the end of your coaching is to have you walk away with a tool kit that you can continue to use to be able to gain the outcome you desire. Just think most athletes, business people, actors and hugely successful people use coaches to get past the barriers and reach their goals. I believe we should all be able to learn the tools to success and how to be our best.

I am passionate about teaching people how the mind works particularly how they can excel and achieve what they want in life. I provide workshops on mental wellbeing particularly focusing on self confidence and self esteem. I also provide information on how to shine at study and some strategies for excelling at tests and exams.
​
I am a big advocate for easy, effective practices that help people to feel in "flow" and simply feel good. Things that you can easily fit into your life, things that can be used long term, adapt and change with your life needs. It's all about feeling less stress, more flow and ease in life.
